Paul Pribuss is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, #MFC 35911, practicing in Marin County. After nearly 25 years as an owner of a commercial construction business, Paul underwent a life transition to become a psychotherapist. He works with adults and adolescents in individual, couple and family formats.
He focuses primarily on Chemical Dependency and Marital/Family Relationships. His experience ranges over 20 years in the substance abuse field, having worked at Henry Ohlhoff, Marin Treatment Center, and Managed Health Net. He has also served as a drug diversion instructor through the Marin County Probation Department and has performed crisis counseling for major insurance companies. He was the director of the Pacific Institute, a non-profit residential geriatric facility, where he supervised therapists-in-training.
He currently provides weekly pro-bono therapy at San Quentin State Prison in conjunction with the Catholic Chapel. He is a member of the California Association of Marriage, Family Therapists. (CAMFT)
Paul is a graduate of Dominican University’s school of Clinical Psychology, M.S. and brings to his work his extensive experience as a parent, administrator and counselor. He incorporates cognitive behavioral, family systems and brief therapy into his practice.
